Mic doesn't even work!!!

The mic itself is broken and when u try to plug it into your pc the mic doesn't show up on the sounds area. I would never buy this product or recommend this for anyone on the whole planet. I bet someone from a poor family wouldn't even want this bull.

The worst headset for $60

I purchased this in November during Black Friday, I was glad to have Logitech headset, overall it was a nice, mic was higher quality than the last one, if we can ignore its "sound canceling" is a complete lie and the gain is just super low meaning if you want to use it change the gain to +30 the second the drivers are installed, but personally I would buy something else, as the heaset has a tendency to break very easily (mine did), logitech doesnt care and laughs at you for spending your money on this piece of garbage, go get something from Turtle beach, Razer, or corsairs

You get what you pay for.

Pros: -Price -Decent Sound Quality -Microphone Clarity Cons: -Fragile (!) -Cheap Construction -Poor Noise Isolation

Poor Sound quality

G930>G230. You'll be hearing a lot less, bad for fps gaming.

Could be better

Had these and they were great at first. Then I dropped them once from about 2 feet from the side of my desk onto carpet, and they cracked and fell apart bit by bit afterwards. Terrible quality, would not recommend.

I've had this headset for almost a year now and it hasn't broke. It's very very sturdy. I'm not super gentle with it either, so the durability is impressive. The sound quality is alright. The mic is sort of quiet - it picks up sound kind of hard? The most troubling part is that it's super heavy and tight. After an hour it feels too heavy on my head; it's very uncomfortable. It always leaves my scalp red and irritated, but that's the price of the durability I guess.

Not bad. But not great

Decent headphones!! Only down side is the mic is terrible!!! Gain needs to be cranked for it to be effective!!

Not comfortable

I don't recommend this headset. Sound quality is great. Love that part. I can hear lots of details that didn't come through so well on my old headset. Apparently this has more padding than the other headset I was looking at; however, the extra padding on the top does nothing to make it comfortable. It pinches all around my head and ears and is very noticeable in about 30-45 minutes, which is no good as I spend *many* hours a day gaming and listening to music. Is it designed for people with tiny heads? This thing is much too expensive not to be optimized for comfort. The cable has volume dial and mic mute switch; nice to have but my old headset (a Logitech H800 or something similar) had controls that actually affected the master volume of the computer, not just of the headset. Small difference but I liked it that way. I really wish Best Buy allowed returns on opened headsets. I understand it but it makes this a LOT of wasted money for me.

terrible earpiece quality

the spinning earpieces are very easily breakable. for 40 bucks no problem but [price]? that's insane they are probably worth 10-15 at cost.

Not recommended

Got this on sale and used it for a few days. audio sounds great but the mic was useless tested on 2 different computers some times the mic volume would be good other times it would cut in and out. you get what you pay for I guess.

Good headset

I've had these for around a year now and they are great. The only issue I have had is the plastic on the left earpiece cracked, right under the G230 logo. It still works great but the plastic could be better quality. The sound is crisp and I have no trouble hearing people coming up behind me in CS:GO. I can always hear them when they are close to me...left, right, front or back.. might as well be surround sound. They are very light and comfortable. The mic is good. I upgraded to the G930 and think this headset is better. The G930 is going back tomorrow, I'll stick to the G230. Great headset for the price.

it was good

I would recommend this headset

  • from Delta, BC

Almost the same as the G430

This headset is almost identical to the G430 except it is Red instead of Blue, and does NOT come with the USB adapter. This could be a big selling point for you if you are looking to purchase this headset for console gaming. Would recommend this headset, great mic and sound quality.
